Commissioned by Broughton Choral Society in 2013, 'The Dream' is one of Stevenson's most recent works. The original lyrics were written by Savourna’s long-time song-writing partner Les Barker and inspired by John Buchan’s short story ‘The Moorsong’ and the beauty of the Scottish Borders landscape where the composer lives.
